Me and Mine November

Like we all are this time of the year, I'm suffering with the light and it bothers me a little that my photos are grainy. I need to invest a little time in to finding a solution, a light box or something.

We actually took these photos last minute yesterday. We'd planned on capturing an outdoor image, we we're going to be attending a light switch on in a nearby village, but we never made it due to us all being so unwell. It's okay though, we're all on the mend now (hopefully) and we've got lots more planned during the big christmas build up.

November, a lot like most months, seems to have flashed by. I can't believe that we're going to be putting our christmas decorations and opening our advent calendars. I'm so excited, but I feel like we just finished Halloween?

We've got lots to prepare and weirdly it doesn't feel like it's caving in on top of me, I'm just excited to tick things off of the list and countdown to christmas day with my family. I know this year is going to be even more special with Ethan now two and a half. We've written our letter to Santa and Ethan's asked for a red train, which is good because I think that might just be what he's getting. We're off to visit Santa in his grotto next week with family and I'm so looking forward to it. We've also got Adams brother coming home from his travels with his new girlfriend who he's bringing here for the first time. I'm hoping Ethan will love having his Uncle home and being able to bond with two new people. It'll be the first time that Adams brother has met Logan and so that will be lovely too.

This month I'm sending you over to the absolutely gorgeous lady that is Jenny from letstalkmommy.com - she has a new blog design which I'm loving! And of course, a very lovely little family too, so do check her out.

  16. Gorgeous pictures! We really struggled with the lighting too. I was determined to take our pictures outside, but we had to rush a bit as it had literally only stopped raining for about 10 minutes.
