MaterniCare Stretch Mark Cream Review

Last month I reviewed the Kelo-Stretch stretch mark cream.
This month I've been giving MaterniCare a go to see how it compares!
If you read my Kelo-Stretch review, you'll know that I got quite a few of those dreaded stretch marks towards the very end of my pregnancy, they came out in force, looking very angry! The Kelo Stretch helped soothe some of the redness of them and I was very pleased.

Since I've been using MaterniCare, I've noticed a big difference. My stretch marks seemed to have faded a whole lot more to the point where not only am I noticing the difference but my Husband and even my Mum seem to think so too. Now, I'm not a stretch mark expert nor a medical person so I'm not going to sit here and write that MaterniCare is totally responsible for the fading, because most of us know -  stretch marks fade by themselves overtime. All I can say is the truth - my stretch marks have faded somewhat {not to the point where I am happy to reveal my stomach, but enough for me and others to have noticed a difference} and I feel that MaterniCare has been responsible for at least some of this fading.

It's priced at £14.99 which I think is a reasonable price because of the difference I've noticed. There's no funny smells whatsoever and I find the cream to be very moisturising, leaving my stomach feeling soft all day and not just for an hour after. I try and use it twice a day, but I often find I'm so busy and usually forget just before bed. I do however always fit in time to massage it in just after I've showered in the mornings. Personally, I really like it and I would like to continue using it, so if you're a Mum-to-be or a new Mum and your looking for recommendations for stretch mark creams, I'd say definitely think about giving this one a go.

Where to find it:

You can pick up MaterniCare at Boots, they also have a Facebook and Twitter  account if you'd like to find out more about the product.

  1. Sounds like a great cream! And reasonably priced for a stretch mark cream!

Do you know if this would work on older stretch marks? I actually have stretch marks from puberty!!! :/ I grew all of a sudden and immediately stopped, so for a brief moment, I was the curvy girl at school...then the other girls overtook me! :)
