I don't think anyone has quite celebrated being told that they have something wrong with them like my Mum and I did in the Doctors surgery just over a week ago. But after a month and a bit of knowing that something wasn't quite right and that anxiety wasn't entirely responsible for all the symptoms I'd been having, it was such a relief to finally know what the cause was. It was also such a relief to hear that it wasn't something far worse than it was. There's something about being called in to the Doctors surgery when you're told that they've slotted you in despite there being no appointments left that feels quite worrying. Hence why my Mum came along. And hence the celebrating, to which the Doctor just laughed, which in turn made me relax.
