Our homes are the most important places in our lives aren't they? They are where most of us start and end our day. They help us to rest and recuperate and are the place that we go to to feel safe and at ease. Our decor choices usually reflect our personalities and can even help to inspire and energise us for the day ahead.

I've always been interested in home decor and I've always been a big believer in that improving our environment helps to improve our everyday psychological well-being. I think that's why I'm so interested in Homebase's current Life Improvement campaign that they are currently running with interior designer and sustainable architect Oliver Heath. Oliver specialises in happier and healthier homes and is helping to explain and share the theory behind why improving your home improves your life. I've found all of his articles and his video really interesting.
