Baby #2: 15 weeks ..Feeling Movement?

This is my first weekly bump update. I would have loved to have started from the very beginning with week 1, but with keeping the pregnancy to ourselves and also dealing with what was utter exhaustion, I didn't. I'm in my second trimester now with baby #2 and am not feeling as exhausted as often as I was anymore. I have been lucky again with this pregnancy and haven't been sick (I wasn't sick with Ethan either). My body just gets very very tired during pregnancy instead.

This week and some of last I am sure I've been feeling flutters of movement, but it sort of feels too early? I've had some heartburn and my blood pressure has been lower too, meaning I'm getting dizzy a lot. My lower back has been hurting due to my growing bump - which sort of seems to have sprung out of no-where!

I'm loving being pregnant again and having a bump to cuddle but I'm still feeling very nervous and anxious and just want the next scan to be here so that I know that baby is healthy and is just okay. I worried all the way throughout my pregnancy with Ethan and I seem to be doing the same with this one too!

  2. Oh I remember the first few weeks very well on both. So tired. Now that I am 34 weeks the tiredness has kicked in again and I can't entertain Matthew because of it.
Like you I was lucky enough to never be sick either. :)
Never actually had heartburn so not sure what it's like. My first flutters were at 16 weeks so could be possible you feel them already. At the moment the second one is mad busy kicking whenever I get to sit down for a minute.

  3. I was feeling movement at this stage too - I have a little more padding than you do too so it's likely you are definitely feeling little flutters!

  4. I know that worried feeling well. If it's any conciliation my second pregnancy is going super fast. I'm nearly 24 weeks and it only seems like yesterday that I was 15! I think because you know what to expect in terms of appointments and tests it all happens before you know it. Good luck for the second scan and I can't wait to see the rest of your bump updates! x

  8. Ah I love this and how you have done it. 15 weeks is early to be feeling movement but when you know you know don't you, especially the second time round, with both my girls I had an anterior placenta at the front meaning I didn't get movement until at least 22 weeks! It was such a long wait! So excited to watch your pregnancy through your blog- your bump is beautiful already. xx

  12. It's so hard not to worry but I'm sure all will be fine. Will you be finding out the gender? :)

I felt baby flutters around 15/16 weeks (with Jasmine who is my first) so it's not impossible that's what you're feeling. Eeek, so exciting. Gosh, now I'm broody!

  13. Awww, love your bump!!! I felt movement really much earlier with BG, so you could be feeling them already. I think I was about 16 weeks when I was definitely sure I was feeling kicks. I'm a big worrier when pregnant too, and worried my way between midwife appointments and scans with both my two, I think it just prepared me for what a worrier you always are as a parent anyway! :)

  14. Aww such a cute little neat bump! Definitely not too early! I felt little movements around 8 weeks this time but then my placenta moved and I`ve felt very little since :(

Its definitely natural to worry a lot. I'm sure everything will be fine though :) xxx

  15. What a sweet little bump! I felt movement by 15 weeks with Archie and you could feel kicks from the outside by 16 weeks, I think you know what you are looking for the second time. Hope it carries on going well and you should come and link up to Blogbumpclub (it goes up tomorrow)
