Food Kids Seem to Love

We all know that children can be picky eaters, but there are several meals that just always seem to be winners. If you’ve just got in from a long day at the office and the kids are ready to eat, the dishes below will certainly put a smile on their faces:
-Grilled Cheese Sandwich
America’s favourite grilled cheese sandwich is never turned down by an adult or a child. This gooey sandwich is nothing but bread, butter and cheese grilled to golden perfection, which can be dressed up with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil for something a little different. If you’re holding a birthday or Halloween party, these will go down a treat. Click here for halloween party ideas from Kraft

-Macaroni and Cheese
Mac and cheese is always a winner and often comes up trumps in children’s favourite food polls. The combination of pasta and cheese seems to make for a delicious meal and it’s quick and easy for parents to make too. For a healthier choice, use whole-wheat pasta.
-Homemade Pizza
Pizza has long been a favourite with kids and continues to be a dinnertime classic. According to Science World Report, nearly 13 per cent of Americans eat pizza in a given day, with a large proportion of this being kids and young adults. Whilst it can be tempting to order in a pizza if you’ve had a busy day, there are more benefits if you make your own. Not only do you have control over your ingredients, the kids can choose their own toppings, meaning they’re far more likely to eat it, and you can all have fun in the process!
-Ice cream
If you’re looking for a crowd pleasing dessert, you can’t beat ice cream. According to How Stuff Works, the invention of the hand-crank ice cream maker in 1843 allowed people to make it themselves, and homemade ice cream remains a popular dessert for American families today. Mint choc chip, vanilla, strawberry, chocolate or bubblegum flavor, whether served in a bowl with jelly or in a cone with sprinkles, it’s delicious to eat and lots of fun to make!
