This newly published book for children aged 5 to 9 called The Anagranimals and the Wishing Tree is an enchanting story about six very ordinary animals who long to be able to do things that other animals can do. When a magical wishing tree grants them a special wish, they each wish for the best parts of their favourite animals. The characters in the story include Heidi the Hippo-Croco-Puss and Pedro Pig-Orilla-Roo.  There is also a lion, a rhino, an elephant and a giraffe who all get mixed up with other animals.



The Anagranimals and the Wishing Tree the first first book in the series with two more on the way and soon even a range of interchangeable cuddly toys.



I read through this book with my Son on my lap and though Ethan, aged just four months, is currently too young to fully appreciate this magical story - I took much enjoyment from it myself finding that I was completely drawn into the beautifully written book. All whilst Ethan gazed excitedly on at the wonderful illustrations of Heidi the Hippo, The Wishing Tree and co whilst listening to his Mummy's voice.
