The Me and Mine Family Portrait Project - March 2017

One thing I've reminded myself of this month is to never try and cheat and take photographs in direct sunlight even in the shade. The problem, a lot of the time, is that the months seems to run away with themselves and then suddenly I'm hit with the realisation that I'm yet to capture our monthly family photograph. Though I'm hoping with all this nice weather that we seem to be having lately, we'll be spending a lot more time together outside as a family and will naturally start to take more and more photos together.

Talking about nice weather - I'm so excited now that April is nearly here, I feel like the first few months of the year can be a bit dull in terms of things to do. I found we spent a lot of our family days walking around the town browsing shops and finding reasons to spend money. At heart, we're an outside-loving family and it's during springtime and summertime that we're all most happiest.

This month I've decided to include some outtakes because they make me laugh and because perhaps a little strangely I actually like them just as much as I do the 'smiley' sorts of shots. I like that they show our personalities, particularly the boys, who are always on the go - never wanting to stop and sit still. But that's toddlers for you! ;)

This month we've enjoyed getting our new family car, which we love! We enjoyed spending Mothers Day together, which is when we took these photos and also where I *may* have had a few too many cocktails. I also enjoyed attending Mum VidCon in London and getting to see all of my fellow youtuber friends whilst I was there.

March has been a fun month, but April is a much busier month for us and I'm so excited and ready for it! Ethan turns 4 (4?!!!) and he is really looking forward to his birthday. Also during April, we've got a trip to London booked in, two theme park trips, Easter, a visit to see my friend and fellow blogger, Hayley from Sparkles and Stretchmarks, who lives right by the seaside and more. And of course, we've just got our fingers crossed for good weather!

I hope you've all had a lovely March and as always, thank you for reading.

Those are the good memory ones too that remind us what life is like with two little ones and a camera in tow. The boys are hilarious. Hope April is lovely for you and turning 4??! I know MM turns 4 in June I can't get over it. Starts school in September. Even more crazy! #meandmineproject
