Munchkin LATCH Newborn Starter Set | Review

As a new mum, feeding your baby will be one of your main concerns and knowing where to start with it all it can often be a little confusing. If you're considering bottle-feeding or combination feeding then you might be interested in hearing about Munchkin LATCH. 

LATCH has been designed to be more like the breast, helping to mimic the breastfeeding experience. While other wide-mouth bottles are designed to look like the breast, the LATCH teat actually moves and functions like it, making it easier for babies to transition from breast to bottle and back again. The bottle also features the unique LATCH anti-colic valve - a base venting, one-piece valve that prevents air bubbles traveling through the milk, reducing the chance of colic. 

We experienced colic with Logan when he was just a few weeks old and it really is something that we never want to go through again! From experience, I now know just how important it is to choose the right sort of bottle when you're formula or combination feeding a baby. And anti-colic bottles are, in my eyes, an absolute must. 

The LATCH Newborn Starter Set includes, 2 x 4oz LATCH bottles, 2 x 8oz LATCH bottles, 4 x 0m+ teats, 2 x 3m+ teats and 1 x LATCH deluxe bottle brush including valve brush. For £30.00 - it's everything needed to get started with formula feeding (minus the steriliser). It's all easily cleaned and importantly, all easy to put together. We've used the LATCH bottles with Logan and despite him being used to another brand of bottles, he took to the LATCH right away with absolutely no issues.
