Our Christmas 2014

Christmas was absolutely wonderful this year, in fact it was probably my favourite christmas to date. There's just something so magical about being a parent at christmas, I think it's actually better than being a child at christmas!

I didn't really take as many photos as I usually would over christmas day and boxing day this year, mostly because I was sort of just caught up enjoying the moments. But I've got a few nice ones to share with you.

On christmas day I woke around 6.30am purely through excitement. Ethan woke up around 7am and that meant so did Adam, which meant it was time to open Ethans stocking from Father Christmas! I was so exited for him and it felt so special with us all sat on our bed watching Ethans face light up every time he pulled out something new from inside of his stocking. After that we went downstairs for some breakfast together and then back upstairs to get dressed. We opened our presents under the tree after we were dressed and then headed off to Adams parents for the rest of our christmas day. We had a lovely meal and had so much fun all together. Ethan was a little overwhelmed and very tired as he had a late nap but asides from that, it was a perfect christmas day.

For Boxing Day, Adam sadly had to work again this year. (Boo!) But my family came round to mine and we had a buffet for dinner and a couple of games of cards and of course, more present opening!

It really has been such a wonderful christmas and we've been so lucky with all of our presents. It's an amazing feeling to think that this time next year we'll be hopefully celebrating as as family of four. I seriously can't wait. :)

Santa left lots of presents under our tree!

Opening our presents!

I loved Ethans christmas outfit so much, it's from benedita.co.uk.

My happy, sweet boy.

Giving Adam his presents, with a huge cheesy grin on my face!

My two favourites, with new reading material!

New Thomas cup!

Slightly blurry sadly, but Ethan in his new tunnel! It's HUGE!

Opening up my presents!

Adam with his massive tankard!

"Ooo what's in here then?"

Ethan looking slightly confused with his bubble train!

My Hubby and I <3

Ethan looked so mini at the table.

With his Grandma and Grandpop. Not quite sure what he's doing with his hands!

My Husband who had been on the Baileys.. and then found a wig.. ;)

Ethans placemat and cracker.

Loved the crackers. :)

Boxing Day... Family opening their presents from us.

My Brother Mark and his girlfriend Charly.

Whilst we waited for Ethan to wake up from his nap, we passed time taking crazy family photos! ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful christmas too!

I am hoping to write  a 'What I got for Christmas' post when I find a little time.
