Applying Make-Up behind the Wheel.

I was just sat here watching Hollyoaks (Poor John-Paul :(..) and having a little read through this webpage on annoying driving habits. I think that one of the most annoying driving habits is using a mobile phone whilst driving. How annoying is it when you see someone driving whilst talking very blatantly on their phone!? Why do they do it? They couldn't make it any more obvious and it's so bloody dangerous, it makes me angry! I remember I watched one of those police traffic programs a while back now and a young girl around my age was killed on the motorway after her car was squashed from the rear by an arctic lorry.. the guy was messing about with his phone and didn't realise the traffic has stopped in front of him. It was awful watching the police officer turn up at the girls house to go and tell her family and her fiancé. :(

Another annoying thing that drivers do is apply make-up behind the wheel... just why? Is the risk of putting yourself and others at danger worth it?! The answer seems very obviously, no.

We're all guilty of taking our concentration off of the road for a minute I'm sure, through means such as loud music and the like but seriously some drivers really do need to get their act together.

  1. I am well behind on Hollyoaks and don't drive, but I do tend to put make-up on when on the tube/bus and can almost master mascara on the move x

  3. Once when I was driving I looked across to the driver in the other lane and he had a map covering the whole steering wheel - we were on the motorway and he wasn't even looking where he was going. It's incredibly scary as a driver when you know you're on the road with idiots!

  5. I can't even apply makeup whilst being a passenger in a car so definitely wouldn't do it behind the wheel. LOL

  6. I never understood why people try to fit putting make up on whilst at a red light!

  7. I would never put make-up on behind the wheel, apart from the fact that it is totally irresponsible, I dread to think what it would turn out like!

  8. I put on make-up in the car when I'm not on the wheel, mainly because I can't drive, but even if I was able to I'd never apply it while driving or behind the wheel(:

  9. This is just so wrong, even to show on TV. Would never and could never apply make up while driving - apart from anything else, I would look like a clown!
