Meet my Brit Mums Live Sponsor and Win a YEARS Supply of Spatone®

spatone, iron supplement, liquid iron supplement, nelsons, daily iron, vitamin c supplement

Last year I became aware of what seemed to be one of the best, most exciting blogging events for any Mummy Blogger;  'BritMums Live!' and I felt a little sad not be attending as it looked like those that did were having such a fantastic time learning so much and getting to meet other bloggers some of whom they'd known for a while through blogging and had then become friends with.

BritMums Live! is the UK’s biggest, two-day social media conference and blogger event, where lifestyle bloggers and social influencers gather to meet and socialise, network with brands, improve their skills, and fire their creativity.

This year I have very kindly been sponsored to attend this event by Spatone, which is a Nelsons brand. I am so so excited and grateful and I can't wait to learn some more about the blogging world and meet some other bloggers I've been friends with for a while now, especially Hayley from  http://www.sparklesandstretchmarks.com.

spatone, iron booster, low iron, nelsons,

Spatone is a unique natural liquid iron supplement. Generally, iron is a very difficult mineral for the body to absorb. However, the iron naturally present in Spatone has been shown to be easily absorbed, with up to 40% bioavailability, compared to 5- 20% from food and other iron supplements. It's available from Boots priced £8.25 for 28 sachets which is a 4 weeks supply.

It is perfect if you're pregnant or if you've recently had a baby as during this time there is often an  increased demand for iron and you could be experiencing symptoms of iron deficiency including; tiredness, fatigue, poor concentration and headaches.

I am so pleased to be sponsored by Spatone as I, myself suffered with extremely low iron after giving birth to Ethan and it made me incredibly ill. I am still trying to get my iron levels back to normal so adding this to my drink to get that extra iron is just so easy (it's best used with a fruit juice like orange as it will help the body absorb it) and it has a lot less of the unpleasant side effects that the traditional iron tablets have.

On top of being my BritMums Live! sponsor Spatone have very kindly offered the chance for one of my readers to win a YEARS supply of Spatone for themselves! Yes, a YEARS supply!!

  1. I suffer from Crohn's disease in my small bowel so the nutrients from my food do not absorb easily and I lose blood through my bowels so my iron levels continue to fall. I have iron infusions every six months to top my levels up so I would like to try these supplements to see if they will at least try to slow down the amount of iron I lose.

  2. If I won I'd give them to my father-in-law who is suffering from anaemia at the moment and is very tired.

  3. I've heard about Spatone so many times but never thought to try it, I needed iron tablets after Noah was born and they made me feel awful! As a breastfeeding mum it's important to make sure I'm getting enough nutrients myself and this sounds the ideal way to do that xx
