Six Years of Logan

I'm going to start this blog post by saying how much I'm in denial about my youngest little boy growing up. He's six tomorrow and lost his first tooth a week ago and in my head, six sounds so much bigger than five. I know he won't change overnight though of course, but I find my children's birthday's emotional, the years of them being little are passing by and whilst we're making as much of the years as possible, there's always that voice in the back of my head willing them not to grow up too fast.

Logan, like his big brother does, makes me proud every single day. He's a character and a whirlwind in that his moods can swing and change at the drop of a hat (can't all five year olds!), but he has the kindest, loving side to him also. He's amazing at sharing, cares about things, and is like a sponge in that he soaks everything up especially when it comes to learning and reading.

His laugh is one of the best sounds in the world and his happiness is infectious. He is Mario and Luigi obsessed and he loves Pokemon too. He likes being the boss and can be emotional like his Mum! He has a fantastic imagination and is always drawing, reading, cutting up bits of paper, creating things out of my sofa cushions and playing Pokemon teddies with his big brother.

I wanted to share some throwbacks to his previous birthdays, just looking back at them makes me feel emotional - it's so true what they say - the days are long but the years are short!

Happy 6th birthday for tomorrow to our Logan, who we love very, very much!

Thank you for reading.
