The Sibling Project - Brothers in August | 2016

I very nearly forgot about this months siblings post, time's been running away with itself a bit lately and I have felt a bit like I've been trying to be too many different people and do too many different things all at once. But it's still the 15th, I'm still on time (just). I might be sitting here blurry eyed and ready for bed, but I don't like to miss these posts. I love seeing photographs of my boys together each month, I like comparing them to the previous months and taking the time to sit here and reflect on just how much their bond has changed and grown.

These two are the cute little duo that the pictures show, but they are also a little handful too and none more so than this last month! They're in proper full swing sibling mode - they've learnt how to be naughty together and when they get started, there isn't any stopping them at the moment (well, until they get split up).

It started with bath splashing, which was rather cute. But it's turned in to screaming at the top their lungs each dinner time whilst smashing their hands down on the table. They think it's hilarious whilst Adam and I desperately try and calm them down as to not have the neighbours at the door. They do it in the car too - that's not particularly fun! They also love to bundle and climb all over everyone together. Having a cup of tea in peace is no longer a thing - Mummy's drinking tea = bundle time!

I know at the moment it's HUGE fun to them - they are learning so much about each other and what it is to have a sibling, whilst their Daddy and I are learning how to handle two little energetic boys. It's amazing to watch them learn what it is to be brothers and do things together. It's the best seeing how happy they make each other and how they team up with one another. It's nice to watch them make each other giggle and see them being silly together. They've become a little duo - two brothers together and it's really magical to watch (I just need a mute button for the screaming!).

I took these photos on my vlogging camera so they're not fantastic, but I love them regardless. I don't think I'll ever get enough of seeing them out on their bikes and of Ethan with that little helmet on and Logan with his sunhat. Honestly, I just can't handle the cuteness of these two sometimes! :D

  2. Oh they are so cute Alex, even if they are learning how to be cheeky little monkeys together. Not that I can believe it at all... look at those butter-wouldn't-melt faces!!! I'm glad you found time to join in, I'm the same, I just love being able to look back at the photos from month to month and seeing how they have grown and their bond has changed and developed. x

  4. Awww they are so cute, Alex. Love the little trikes and their happy grins. You must be so proud. With two little girls I didn't have the bath splashing and raucous shouts....they were more quiet. It must be fun sometimes though. I wish my girls had more spirit at times, but I guess that will come later.

  5. Ahhhh so sweet! How grown up does Logan look! Lol yep, the naughtiness kicks in around now and...sorry to tell you...but we're a few months down the line from you and it's showing no signs of stopping yet! lol. Infact it's getting worse as now Noah is starting to talk, he copies whatever Tyne says and does...which winds Tyne up and makes him shout, which Noah then copies again, and on and on and on....I'm buying lots of paracetamol these days! lol xxx
