A Safe Digital Playground With The KidzInMind App

I previously wouldn't have thought to give Ethan my phone to play games using apps targeted towards his age. With me being a blogger and my Husband having his own online business we tend to put the phones away whenever we can with the thinking that it can sort of isolate us a bit. Recently however, we came across a new iOS and Android app that offers age appropriate and approved educational apps, videos and games for kids and actually I've really seen the benefits that some children's apps have.

Because rather than isolate Ethan from us, the KidzInMind app is something we've been using together as a family and not only is it something fun we've been sharing together  - it's an educational tool that has been teaching Ethan (and boy does he catch on quick!).

KidzInMind is an ‘app of apps’ for pre-school children aged 2-6, unlocking over £50 worth of educational games and apps that can be played by children on smart phones and tablets. Each app is evaluated fully before it is featured, ensuring its content is educational. It means kids can have fun and learn at the same time. The combination of educational and fun material makes KidzInMind irresistible to both kids and parents alike. The types of apps include nutritional, handwriting, brushing your teeth correctly and much more. Recently Ethan has been enjoying learning his ABC's.

Parents are offered added peace of mind with access to a selection of parental controls including time restricted sessions for kids and the ability to restrict activity to other areas of the device, such as the Internet or other apps. There is already a selection of more than 40 apps to choose from, with more added each week!

KidzInMind is already being recognised across the industry. It received the kidSAFE Seal, a program that independently reviews and certifies the safety practises of children-friendly websites and technologies and is advised by some of the world’s leading Internet safety experts. The app has also been awarded the Best Mobile App for Children and Toddlers in 2014 and earlier this year received the Mom’s Choice Award

KidzInMind is available to download on Android from Google Play and iOS from the App Store. The app is subscription-based and after the first week, which is free, KidzInMind is priced a 79p per month for limited in-built apps and features. Parents can pay £2.99 per month for unlimited access to the full app, video and game catalogue and all the parental safety controls.

  2. Wow, it sounds fantastic, although I have never heard of a subscription based app and to be completely honest wouldn't be happy to pay a monthly fee when there are so many other apps and resources available for free. I understand the peace of mind that it is child-safe but most devices come with parental controls.
We've just bought a tablet for our little girl so will look into it for sure.

    Thanks
