Brothers October 2015

'Brothers' - my second favourite blog post do in the month just after 'Me and Mine'. It gives me a chance to reflect back on how how the bond between my children has developed throughout the month, as well as giving me the opportunity to share photos of them together. I use these posts as a way of looking back through previous months, to see how much my boys have changed and to remember the moments that they've shared together. I feel that writing these posts and having the ability to look back in years to come, will for Adam and I, one day make these posts and photographs completely priceless.

Ethan and Logan already seem to have bonded with each other, not in the sense that they sit and play with each other, but in the sense that they are very aware of each other. I often see Logan watching his older brother, intrigued by what he's doing. And Ethan is already very protective of his younger brother and will always ask after him if Logan isn't where he expects him to be. Ethan still calls Logan 'LoLo' which we think is really cute. They really seem to love bathing together and Ethan likes to show Logan different things, particularly his toys cars, trains and planes.. I really do look forward to the day that they can both play together.

It's always amazes me how well Ethan has taken and is still taking to being a big brother - it's almost like Logan has always been here. He's never shown any resentment to him, not even when he wants us to do something with him but we're busy feeding or settling Logan off to sleep. Ethan really seems to love having a little brother and he'll often walk around saying 'Mama, Daddy, E E, (he calls himself E E!) and LoLo!' I couldn't feel any prouder of my boys, but I still feel like I'm in a bit of a dream with them both as I just feel so unbelievably lucky to be able to call myself their Mummy.
